Dr. Sarah McSherry, DMD

A New England native, Dr. McSherry graduated in 2014 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BS in Biology (magna cum laude) and a BA in Spanish (summa cum laude). She received a Health Professions Scholarship from the US Army. Dr. McSherry was then accepted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduating with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2018, she attended the Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Sam Houston. She was commissioned into the Army as a Captain and Dental Officer. During her last four years in the Army, she treated active-duty soldiers at Fort Drum before their deployment. Dr. McSherry also held a secondary role as the Continuing Education Officer and organized dental continuing education courses for her entire unit. In her honorable service, Dr. McSherry received the Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon.

Dr. McSherry grew up in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and knew that she wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. She enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and discuss their dental health goals. She has an interest in treating dental emergencies and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ or TMD). Dr. McSherry and her husband have two children. She enjoys cooking and baking (and eating!) and spending time outdoors.
